This was a relatively uneventful beach day on South Harris Beach. I was expecting more drift and erosion issues post-Bomb Cyclone. It was beautiful outside but the air was a little hazy with smoke from controlled burns in the area. Mellow December Thursday for sure. read more

A cool and cloudy morning at low tide along Mile 7 found only 7 people and no dogs. Seasonal beach erosion was noted at the southern end of the mile and very little debris was observed at the driftline.read more
