One dead cormorant was observed. Several man made driftwood structures were built near the jetty at the northern end of Nedonna beach.read more
Very high tides in the last week have swept the beach clean of usual debris in wrack line. Sand has built up nicely since winter storms and the beach as a whole is in very good shape. read more

Effects of storms and high tides over last couple of weeks striking -- northern half mile shows major erosion of fore dune. Lots of large logs high up on beach; relatively few smaller pieces. Fair amount of sand added to beach; looks more like mid-summer width than usual winter. read more

Quiet - saw bald eagle and also osprey flying over ocean. Very few seagulls - beach appears to be returning after sand loss this winter.read more
