There was a significant change in drifting of sand up to the vegetated foredune since my last report. As mentioned there was an unusual abundance of washed up moon jellies and a total absence of sandpipers. The only birds noted were 4 flocks of Western gulls and 3 Heerman's gulls...read more 2008

Calm, sunny conditions with low traffic of ATVs compared with last observation during summer. Fewer shorebirds noted this time and less debris and dead marine life washed up.read more
