Nice day at the beach. Not too crowded but certainly not empty. People doing the normal Fort Stevens beach stuff; walking, looking at the wreck, etc. Trucks were on the beach in the allowed area, a few drove on and off the sand a few times during our observation. No noted marine life or bird. Everything was clean.

  • Just a nice little piece of randomly created art above the tide line.

Check out the photos. We visited the week after the beach clean up so things were very clean. No debris. No dead birds or animals, nothing washed up. Fairly early in the day so not too much activity...

Winter day at the state park. Had been very rainy the day before, campground was not very busy. Tide quite high but we've seen worse on our observations. Not much action. People standing around,...

In the course of our walk a very wet storm arrived. We started dry and ended up soaked. The few people on the people were mostly standing or doing short walks, no one in the water or playing. Tide...

The tide was the lowest I've ever seen it in any of our visits over the years. The tide was so far out the Peter Iredale was available to all with lots of beach between it and the waves. Many people...

This was a very stormy weekend, the sun happened to come out during our mile walk, but it had been raining a lot the previous day, and that morning. Three day weekend so good crowds. The tide was...

Nice late summer day. Lots of horses on the beach this time. And truck driving through the primary beach access area; they are allowed but seem unnecessary in my opinion. No noted issues with...

It was a rainy, late November day. People were on the beach right near the Peter Iredale wreck but not much beyond that. A few trucks drove onto the beach where it was allowed but did not go any...

It was a beautiful September day at the beach. Lots of people at the Peter Iredale area. Mostly standing around. Head north 50 yards however and the crowds thinned dramatically, just a few people...

In this mile the bulk of the action if around the wreck of the Peter Iredale, almost all activity ceases away from that small section of beach. That was where almost all the people, dogs and activity...
